Build da Vinci’s catapult!
First invented in the 4th century BCE, catapults were a staple of warfare by the time Leonardo da Vinci reimagined them in his Codex Atlanticus in 1478.
Flash forward over 500 years and now, you get to build a working model based on those original drawings with your own two hands!
It’s easy to build in about an hour, it’s made of natural untreated wood from sustainable forests, and all the parts are pre-cut and ready to go right out of the box.
Once it’s built, just load it with the clay ball, turn the crank to create tension in the bendable pieces of wood, and then release to watch it fly over 13 feet!
History launches into action with the Leonardo da Vinci Catapult kit.
